“As city hall leader of Paris, the choice depends on me and I have the understanding of the IOC (Worldwide Olympic Council),” Hidalgo told French day to day Ouest-France.
“So indeed, they (the rings) will remain on the Eiffel Pinnacle,” she said, without indicating for how long.
She said five lighter rings of a similar size would supplant those decent on the French capital’s most meaningful landmark on the grounds that the ongoing ones are “excessively weighty” to wait for quite a while.
